Meet the 188 Cobra Squadron Staff !

The squadron staff is a team of Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers, Civilian Instructors (CI) and Civilian Volunteers (CV). As members of the CIC, they belong to the Cadet Organization Administration and Training Service (COATS), which is a sub-component of the Canadian Forces Reserves. The staff at 188 Cobra are specifically tasked with the supervision, administration and training of cadets. Staff have full time day jobs while they dedicate their evenings, weekends and vacation days to the development of the youth under their care. All our adult staff are trained and screened to work with youth.

Congratulations to the 2021-2022 188 Cobra Biathlon Team!!!
We have some exciting news to share with our fellow Cobras. Over the past weekend (Nov 21, 2021), our Biathlon team competed in the first competition of the year at Robert Land Academy with 13 different Air, Army and Sea Cadet Units. We took home some BIG hardware!!

Yeah, it's safe to say we're making our mark around the NGTA. We're super super proud of our Biathlon team, and if you see them around on the Parade Square (or on Discord), don't forget to let them know!

Special Thank You to CI Li, 2Lt Mrasek and 2Lt Nguyen for your time, commitment and dedication in coaching the team. Your leadership and guidance provided the cadets with a positive environment to learn a new sport and enabled them to be the best that they can be. A special shout out goes to CI Li - all of the competition staff had nothing, but positive praises for his coaching and leadership skills.
