The squadron staff is a team of Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers, Civilian Instructors (CI) and Civilian Volunteers (CV). As members of the CIC, they belong to the Cadet Organization Administration and Training Service (COATS), which is a sub-component of the Canadian Forces Reserves. The staff at 188 Cobra are specifically tasked with the supervision, administration and training of cadets. Staff have full time day jobs while they dedicate their evenings, weekends and vacation days to the development of the youth under their care. All our adult staff are trained and screened to work with youth.

Administration
Ontario Health Card - All cadets are to carry their Ontario Health Card on their person at all times during cadet activities.
Training
Field Training Exercise (FTX) – The squadron will be conducting a field training exercise (FTX) on the weekend of 13-15 June 2025 at Camp Endobanah. This is an overnight activity. This activity is open to all cadets. Cadets are to meet at Denison Armoury, Trailer B for 1800hrs on Friday, June 13, 2025. Busses will return for 1500hrs on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Meals will be provided starting with Saturday breakfast, ending with Sunday lunch. Dress for the weekend is Weather Appropriate.Civilian Attire Click here for Kit List. Click here for Load List.

Summer Break – 188 Cobra Squadron will be standing down for the summer as of 16 June 2025. We wish everyone a safe and restful summer break. Good luck to all cadets attending summer training. Looking forward to seeing everyone back on 3 September 2025.
