Meet the 188 Cobra Squadron Staff !
The squadron staff is a team of Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers, Civilian Instructors (CI) and Civilian Volunteers (CV). As members of the CIC, they belong to the Cadet Organization Administration and Training Service (COATS), which is a sub-component of the Canadian Forces Reserves. The staff at 188 Cobra are specifically tasked with the supervision, administration and training of cadets. Staff have full time day jobs while they dedicate their evenings, weekends and vacation days to the development of the youth under their care. All our adult staff are trained and screened to work with youth.

Administration
Health Insurance: Ensure your health card is up to date. If you recently renewed your health card, please provide your new information to 2Lt Sukhdeo.
Training
142 Invitational Drill Competition: Members of the Drill with Arms and Drill without Arms Teams will be competing at the 142 Invitational Drill Competition on 11 May 2024. More details will be provided to team members closer to the competition date
NGTA and COA Sports Competition: Members of the Sports Team will be competing in the NGTA and COA Sports Competition on 18 May 2024 at Denison Armoury. More details will be provided to team members closer to the competition date.
Victoria Day: The squadron will be standing down on 20 May 2024 for Victoria Day.
Gliding: The squadron will be going gliding on 25 May 2024 at CFB Borden. There are 15 spots available. Priority will be given to junior cadets. Dress of the day is civilian attire. Click here to sign up.
Band: The Band will hold practices on Sundays between 1400-1600hrs at Denison Armoury. Dress is civilian attire.
Drill with Arms Team: The Drill with Arms Team will hold practices on Sundays between 1600-1730hrs at Denison Armoury. Dress is civilian attire.
Drill without Arms Team: The Drill without Arms Team will hold practices on Sundays between 1730-1900hrs at Denison Armoury. Dress is civilian attire.
Sports: All cadets are welcome to come out for sports on Sundays between 1900-2030hrs at Denison Armoury. Dress is civilian attire.
Annual Ceremonial Review: 188 Cobra Squadron’s 51st Annual Ceremonial Review will be held on 01 June 2024 at Denison Armoury. Dress of the day is C1A. Cadets are to arrive for 0900hrs for parade practice. Guests are to be seated for 1245hrs.
Co-operative Education Cadet Program: Any current air, army or sea cadet who has already achieved one high school credit and is a student in Ontario is eligible to participate in the co-operative education cadet program. Please read the FAQ for more information and complete the application form.
