Meet the 188 Cobra Squadron Staff !

The squadron staff is a team of Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers, Civilian Instructors (CI) and Civilian Volunteers (CV). As members of the CIC, they belong to the Cadet Organization Administration and Training Service (COATS), which is a sub-component of the Canadian Forces Reserves. The staff at 188 Cobra are specifically tasked with the supervision, administration and training of cadets. Staff have full time day jobs while they dedicate their evenings, weekends and vacation days to the development of the youth under their care. All our adult staff are trained and screened to work with youth.

About 188 Cobra Squadron
188 Cobra Squadron has been part of the Downsview community since November 1, 1973. We continue to offer youth training in citizenship, leadership, fitness, aviation and so much more.

188 Cobra Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is one of the largest units in Canada with 130 cadets, and 14 staff members. The Squadron parades out of Denison Armoury in Toronto. In addition to regular training, we operate a Brass & Reed Band, Flag Party, two Precision Drill Teams, Marksmanship, Biathlon and Orienteering Teams, Aviation Ground School and many more exciting & challenging events for the the development of tomorrows leaders. 188 is where lifelong friendships are forged!
